Join the Canadian Sinfonietta and conductor Tak-Ng Lai as they present an evening of French music. This concert features internationally acclaimed pianist Alexander Tselyakov, performing solo and also in a duo with his son, an up and coming young virtuoso, Daniel Tselyakov. Works include Debussy (arr.Lai): Petite Suite, Milhaud (arr. Dimov): Scaramouche, and Saint- Saens: Carnival of the Animals with original sketches by Toronto artist Kristen Peterson and narration by Brendan FitzGerald. From romantic impressionism and rhythmic excitement to fun drawings of animals set to music, this is an evening sure to please all ages- be it your child, or your special Valentine!
